Pro-Stretch UK’s Team-Building in the Lake District!

The Pro-Stretch UK team recently spent 2 days in the gorgeous Lake District taking part in team building activities all over Cumbria, and staying in luxury at ‘The Samling’ Hotel.

Following a delicious afternoon tea at The Wild Boar Inn, we headed out to our first outdoor activity- Clay Pigeon Shooting.

We were split into teams of 2 and Steve the brilliant shooting coach, had all of the team shooting clays left, right and centre!

After a fantastic afternoon shooting clays, we retreated to the lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds, overlooking Lake Windermere, for an evening of wine tasting and fine dining.

The staff were fabulously attentive and knowledgeable and the dining area was the perfect setting for the presentation of the Pro-Stretch Challenge cup to our first ever winner Michelle for her amazing clay pigeon shooting scores!

We were informed by CEO Christine, that this would be the first of many future challenges, with prizes for the winners!

The next day, after an incredible breakfast to set us up for the day, we had the privilege to become members of the wolf pack and walk (and howl!) with the stunning Maska & Kajika at Predator Experience.

Dee & Dan, the expert handlers, were incredibly informative and managed to calm even the most nervous of team members to make it a truly wonderful experience!

Before heading back to Cheshire, we stopped off to visit the award winning ‘Shed1 Gin’ for Gin tasting and a distillery tour, we had a fantastic time with Zoe, Thea & Lindsey enjoying afternoon G & Teas.

Zoe paired her homemade sweet treats, using the same botanicals in the gins that we were tasting, to enhance our gin experience to another level!

Coupled with an informative tour of the gin distillery and a look into the background of how ‘Shed1 Gin’ began, the afternoon ended a great few days of team building for Pro-Stretch!

Our staff members thoroughly enjoyed all the experiences, Kathryn said, “I had a wonderful 2 days with fantastic experiences, which I will never forget! An amazing hotel, fabulous food and wine and all shared with great friends.”

Louise also said, “I had a fabulous time and it was greatly appreciated. I feel very privileged to be part of such a great team!”
